I just started my first community project http://code.google.com/p/gwt-plugin-framework/ and I just started to blog, will see how long will I last.
I expirienced some difficulties when I was trying to add some pictures / diagrams to goole code wiki. I did not found any place to do it nicly on google code panel (I didnt like the idea to mix images in download secion, and I did not found dictionary creation feature. I failed to do it using google docs and picasa (I spent some time trying to add png to picasa but it did not allow me too). In the end I decided to add the images into discussion group - dont know if its the best solution but I will keep the downloads section on project page clean. Maybe google will add a simple catalog feature to google code.

We need some more examples and documentation on how to create a sample example application.
Some explanation of the manifests and extension points would be helpful too.
When I changed work I did not do anything in GWT, additionally I did not have any spare time :(
